Profound Gentlemen invites all schools, districts, and charter networks to partner with us in retaining male educators of color.

Eligible partners receive:

  • Access to a network of nearly 1,000 male educators of color.
  • Tailored conferences and educator workshops
  • A personal feedback loop that provides the LEA with raw data and protects the educator.
  • A NEW 10-month affinity group curriculum that cultivates positive conversation about authentic identity, classroom management, imposter syndrome, resilience, and so much more. The curriculum is also paired with funds to support its growth.

Our partnership currently is supported by philanthropic dollars through 2025. However, to be eligible, you must:

  • Have at least FIVE early-stage male educators of color. PG considers early-stage educators who have not been lead teachers for at least five years.
  • Have ONE seasoned male educator who is willing to champion the work. PG defines seasoned educators as those with at least five years as lead teachers. All champions must still serve IN the classroom and be passionate about the work. Champions will receive an annual stipend for leading the monthly affinity group curriculum and an event budget to assist.
  • Commit to increasing leadership opportunities for male educators of color that don't require them to leave the classroom. LEAs show their commitment through the signing of a standard MOU.
